For NHS boards and nursing leaders

Staff health is now a board metric. Can you see it before the survey does?

From July 2026, NHS trusts in England are measured on six new Staff Standards, including health and wellbeing, with clear accountability at board level. MACH Health® shows you how your nurses are arriving, shift by shift.

The gap

The survey tells you once a year. Your nurses arrive every shift.

Annual surveys look back. Sickness absence only counts the days people are off. Neither shows the nurse who came in exhausted this morning.

  • A pre-shift check-in, then personalised prompts through the shift: matched to role, shift pattern and skill level, focused on safety, fatigue and wellbeing
  • Patterns by ward, specialty and band, de-identified, groups of 10 or more
  • Alerts when a team trends towards risk, so you can act before it reaches the survey
  • A board-ready monthly brief showing what you did and what changed
